Last Updated: 10.29.06	TRAINING UP A CHILD The Word instructs us to "Train up a child in His ways when they are young and when they are old, they will not depart from it." Our children experience so many problems early in life that we as adults have not experienced or did so much later in our adult lives. We must equip our youth to withstand all of the temptations of Satan and the World. During Youth Church our Youth: Help With Devotion: Read Scripture and Pray Hear the Preached Word and Ask Lots of Questions Scripture Memorization Young Disciples Program (helping youth become ministry oriented) Testimony and Witnessing Praise through Song and Dance We pray that this website and our Youth Church will help to introduce our youth to Jesus Christ and help them to become mature Christians. We challenge and encourage all parents, grandparents, family members, and friends to take an active role in the Christian-Education of the youth that are in your circle of influence.	5 "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
